I am a long-term Web3 professional who utilizes non-custodial wallets for assets and exchange services for liquidity. My transaction of 9.5 ETH was blocked by Quickex.io during a routine AML check. Five months have passed without resolution.
Quickex has shifted responsibility to their liquidity provider, claiming that blockchain analytics firms (such as Crystal and AMLbot) linked my funds to the hack. Despite my clean history and the passage of time, the platform refuses to release the assets, stating they are legally obligated to hold them until a court order or official law enforcement directive is issued.
Transaction Date March 19, 2026
Status Frozen / Under Investigation
Stated Reason AML violation; funds linked to Hack
Custodian Liquidity provider (KuCoin)

Note to the community from Trêvoid
Please exercise extreme caution when using third-party swap services or non-custodial exchanges. Many "instant" exchange services do not hold their own liquidity; they route orders through major centralized exchanges (CEXs). If a CEX flags the transaction, the swap service may lack the authority to release your funds. Even if your personal wallet activity is clean, the "history" of the coins you receive from others can be tracked via tools like Chainalysis, Crystal, or Elliptic. If those coins were previously part of a hack or illicit activity, they can be "tainted" downstream.Best regards,
