Hi everyone, I am publishing this scam accusation to alert the community to an ongoing, unresolved case of asset seizure by FixedFloat. Since December 11, the platform has retained 1.9 BTC sent for a swap without executing the exchange or returning the principal.

Officially scam thread opened and the original incident dates back to December 11, meaning total wait time is 75 days .

Key Findings

  • Verification of Funds: All transactions are fully verifiable on-chain. Independent blockchain analysis confirms the activity is consistent with legitimate usage.
  • Arbitrary Seizure: No specific allegations of criminal activity, legal orders, or seizure notices have been presented.
  • Administrative Evasion: Support channels have been non-transparent, ranging from marking my case as "resolved" while holding the funds, to refusing assistance and redirecting to a silent email queue.
  • On-Chain Evidence of Misconduct: Blockchain analysis shows the funds were moved on-chain during the period the service claimed the assets were "frozen" or "suspended."

The "KYC" Trap

FixedFloat has attempted to pivot to identity verification after the fact. Crucially:
  • They provide no guarantee that completing this verification will result in the release of funds.
  • There is no binding timeline for review.
  • This appears to be a stalling tactic to avoid returning funds.

Conclusion

The combination of prolonged, unjustified withholding, the lack of communication, and the movement of funds on-chain suggests that FixedFloat is acting in bad faith.

Community Warning: Exercise extreme caution. This service exhibits clear patterns of asset retention that suggest they may be operating as an exit-scam or misappropriating user funds under the guise of "compliance."
